Please be aware that several updates to the myPurdue portal homepage are scheduled for May 1. As part of these changes, any cards you've bookmarked to your homepage may be removed from your homepage. To make it easier to restore them, Purdue IT recommends taking a screenshot of your homepage before May 1. That way, you’ll have a quick reference for re-bookmarking any cards that disappear during the update.
Here’s what’s changing to make your homepage more intuitive and useful:
New tab bar navigation – A tab bar will be added to the homepage to help you easily explore and navigate to category pages. This update makes the homepage feel more like a central hub, with smarter organization and less scrolling.
Categories still available via the hamburger menu:
The one difference between using the new tab bar vs the hamburger menu to access a category page, is that search and sort features are only available when you navigate via the hamburger menu:
The Discover page is now called All Cards when accessed through the hamburger menu. It’s the same page—still displaying all your cards—just with a new name.
The DISCOVER MORE button that was previously at the bottom of the homepage has been moved to the top and is now labeled VIEW ALL CARDS.
When you select the VIEW ALL CARDS button, you’ll be taken to the same page that the former DISCOVER MORE button directed you to. This page—previously titled Discover—is now called All Cards.
When the updates go live, the below messages will be presented upon logging into myPurdue, which describe most of the changes. They will not be displayed on subsequent visits.
